Oyster Bay Chooses New Food Vendors For TOBAY Beach
The companies will be running food and concessions for residents at the beach.

After a special meeting last week, the Town of Oyster Bay has selected two new vendors to oversee concessions at TOBAY Beach.
The Town Board chose Island Time Hospitality Group to run the waterfront restaurants at TOBAY's bayside, and J&B Restaurant Partners to operate the concessions on the beaches ocean-side and marina.
The town touted the decision-making process for the vendors as open government at its finest. The meetings were held in public and were live-streamed online for residents. The deliberations, vendor presentations and selection process were all done in public, the town said.

"From day one, our goal has been to provide residents with the best food and beverage services at TOBAY Beach in a way that is affordable and enhances the overall beach experience," said Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "Holding this entire process in public allowed for resident participation, with the highest focus on complete transparency, accountability and deliverability."
