WATCH: Police Release Surveillance Video of Nassau Gas Station Robbery

BREAKING: Police have released surveillance footage from a robbery that occurred Saturday night.

MASSAPEQUA, NY - Nassau Police released surveillance video (see below) on Monday of a man who robbed a Massapequa gas station armed with a box cutter Saturday night.

The man entered the BP station on 900 N. Broadway around 11:47 p.m. and demanded a 22-year-old male cashier give him cash from the register, police said.

After the cashier complied, the man removed an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot north on Broadway.

There were no injuries reported.

The robber was described as white, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds. He was wearing black flip flops, black shorts, a black or gray hooded sweatshirt, and a blue bandana covering bottom portion of his face.

Police are anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
