This Monday, Aug. 1, is the day everyone has been  about since Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano partnered with New York Islanders owner Charles Wang and Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray back in May to  the plans for a new Nassau Coliseum. Monday's referendum vote will essentially decide the fate of the Islanders on Long Island, as well as the immediate future of taxes in Nassau County.
