Squabbles

Bickering can set off an alarming magnitude of disruptions within the body and psyche.

We are often conflicted living in a polarized hypnotic world that sets false pretenses and wires our brains for fearfulness and overwhelm causing interminable chaos and contagious delirium.

Woefully, the inexhaustible global newsfeed and harsh realities that inundate our consciousness and plague earthbound inhabitants unfailingly interfere with internal regulatory parameters that are often shifted askew and left reeling.

This altered disposition creates an abysmal rift where internal combustion is fueled by the excess angst and oxidative stress and readily smolders the available kinder aglow and eventually or promptly sets the system ablaze.

Focusing inward, can help assuage and even halt the extraneous noise, but the inner atmosphere can be just as turmoiled, necessitating forethought and attention.

Humans are ruled by two robust clashing forces: the ego and the Holy Spirit.

They are both formidable and determined.

The ego strives for what it believes is best for you, but that means playing small, never veering out of your comfort zone, and avoiding any risk-taking.

Rigidness and limitations rule here.

In diametrical opposition, the Holy Spirit is expansive and spans beyond the brain and ego as it communicates with the Soul.

The ego will cease upon physical death and can be controlled and subdued with skill and patience.

As an integral part of the triune Godhead, the Holy Spirit, is eternal and passionate.

Which one is influencing you?

The ego admonishes and stalls progress, while the Holy Spirit is Baptismal, boundless, and buoyant with a gentleness that exudes peace, advocacy, and guidance, alleviating worries and discarding egoic barriers.

With such dominating quarreling proponents astir, deciding which way to go can be daunting.

Of course we want to remain safe, but as spiritual beings, we also crave growth and Divine wisdom to broaden our perspectives and horizons to surpass the self, and dismal diurnal banalities.

The self-absorbed bossy ego is a survivor, that is its purpose.

The Holy Spirit is transcendental and bears gifts: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear and awe of the Lord.

It is pervasive, loving, giving, truthful, and Holy.

This faithful Advocate also has your best interest at heart, but it is generated from Love and a broader vantage point, unlike the nervous contracted ego, who is regulated by fear.

The Holy Spirit lives within you.

The battle is ongoing.

Who wins is up to you.
