We are graciously and magnanimously Baptized into Jesus' family and designated to be priests, prophets, and kings.
No small order.

At that awesome ceremony, a Pastor anoints the infant with Sacred Chrism and appoints him or her to live out these admirable attributes by stating, "Just as Jesus was anointed priest, prophet, and king so may you live always as a member of his body sharing everlasting life."
We are called to the same high standards as Christ the King, eagerly awaiting His word and command as moldable pious disciples.

Since these majestic titles are instituted as a grace and promise of God's fulfillment to mankind, and not a mere nomination or suggestion but a veritable decree, they therefore require effort and introspection to ponder how one will lovingly integrate and emulate these grand assignments into the diverse and disadvantaged fabric of humanity.
Thereby, leave no stone unturned when on this inward journey where one can encounter an assortment of qualifying prospects.
Keep in mind that noteworthy qualities of a king are leadership, wisdom, and caring for his community, which Jesus exuded when walking the earth and while dying on the tortuous Cross.
Twelve days after Christ's birth three kings, who had traveled vast distances, arrived to pay Him homage.
These Wise Men were also astrologers and had been entranced by the sighting of an outstanding exceptional star glowing like no other and diligently sought its meaning by thoroughly researching religious texts, astrology books, and prophetic influence to determine its significance.
Each piece of information pointed to a special king's birth, One who would challenge and change prior precepts and rule forever.
Their enlightened voyage, led by celestial guidance illuminated the path to Christ with exquisite exactness.
Those twelve days evoked the merry tune "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and the branding of the span referred to as Christmastide, recounting our Savior's birth on December 25th to January 6th when the Trio of Magi reached their prognosticated destination.
A dozen days are declared to celebrate the Lord's Nativity.
This profound manifestation of God is also known as the Epiphany, showcasing God's love for mankind.
Like the sing-along carol the "The Twelve Days of Christmas" croons - it is a time of celebrating and giving gifts, a most joyous period acknowledging the Messiah with deep adoration.
The Magi were the first Gentiles called to observe the manifestation of God to honor, worship, and glorify the Christ Child.
Even though Christ arose as a Jewish man, He was destined to be embraced by all humanity as was witnessed by the three Kings traveling twelve days to worship the Messiah of the new and everlasting covenant.
We are Baptized with this same extraordinary Grace, imbued with His Spirit, enabling miraculous possibilities.
The Magi brought gifts, but the best present you can offer Jesus is to imitate and echo Him by honoring your Divine blessings bestowed upon you as Baptismal Rites fortifying you to carry on His missionary work and teachings to reconcile this wayward world.
His inextinguishable Light is always guiding you.
May your endeavors be fruitful.
~" Rise up in splendor! Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you," Isaiah 60:1 ~
