Two Pets Die In Nassau House Fire
BREAKING: One woman was hospitalized and a firefighter suffered minor injuries after the blaze on Thursday morning.

NORTH MASSAPEQUA, NY - A dog and a cat died in a North Massapequa house fire on Thursday morning.
The local department received a call of a fire at a home on North Delaware Avenue at about 7:11 a.m.
There were six people in the house at the time but all escaped.

The North Massapequa Fire Department requested assistance from 7 local fire departments to put out the fire.
The blaze was quickly knocked down.

One woman was hospitalized for smoke inhalation and a firefighter suffered minor injuries as a result.
The cause of the fire is still unknown but appears to not be suspicious. The incident is currently under investigation.
