What's Opened, Closed In Massapequa On Labor Day?

Here's a look at what's going to be available on Monday, Sept. 2.

Labor Day is here, which means it's the last three-day weekend to get in at the beach before summer ends.

Here's what's opened and what's closed on Monday, Sept. 2 in Massapequa.

All town offices are closed. There also won't be any sanitation pickup on Monday. Instead, garbage collections for Monday will be made on Tuesday, and Tuesday collections will be made on Wednesday. All Town of Oyster Bay pools and beaches will also close at 6 p.m.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:

  • Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
  • Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner's discretion.
  • Liquor Stores - Open at owner's discretion.
