Woman Steals Puppy From Nassau Pet Store
Police say the woman took the puppy, which is worth more than $1,500, out of its cage and walked out of the store with it.

A woman stole a puppy from a pet store in Massapequa on Wednesday, and Nassau Police are trying to track her down.
According to police, the woman entered American Dog Club, located in the Sunrise Mall, at 9:24 p.m. and removed a Mini Walrus puppy from its cage. The woman then left the store without paying for the dog, which is worth $1,700.
The woman has a medium build, brown hair and glasses. She was wearing blue jeans, a dark long sleeved shirt and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about the purloined pooch is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
