A woman stole a puppy from a pet store in Massapequa on Wednesday, and Nassau Police are trying to track her down. According to police, the woman entered American Dog Club, located in the Sunrise Mall, at 9:24 p.m. and removed a Mini Walrus puppy from its cage. The woman then left the store without paying for the dog, which is worth $1,700.The woman has a medium build, brown hair and glasses. She was wearing blue jeans, a dark long sleeved shirt and black sneakers.Anyone with information about the purloined pooch is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
