
Former Massapequa High School star Matt Zash has achieved his dream of winning a gold medal at the World Lacrosse Championships in Manchester England.
Zash and team USA defeated Canada 12-10 in the gold medal game, avenging a loss from earlier in the tournament.
Zash didn't score in the game, but was a key figure in helping the team hold onto the lead late in the game.
