
Massapequa's Matt Zash has been a key contributor for Team USA at the World Lacrosse Championships.
The former Massapequa High School and Duke standout scored three times in pool play at the tournament, which is being held in Manchester, England.
Zash scored his first goal in the third quarter of the US' heartbreaking 10-9 loss to Canada on Saturday. He came back the next day to find the net in a 22-4 thrashing of Germany.

He also scored in another blowout as the US defeated Japan 19-5 on Tuesday.
Team USA has a bye in the medal round and will play in the semifinals Thursday.
