• Woman Struck By Vehicle That Left Scene In Medford: Police (patch.com) — A 72-year-old Holtsville woman was injured in Medford after a white four-door sedan reportedly struck her in the intersection of Peconic and Oregon avenues Friday night and then left the scene. She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk with non-life-threatening injuries, and Suffolk police are asking anyone with information about the Medford hit-and-run to contact Crime Stoppers.
• Allied Physicians Group to open new pediatric urgent care centers in Medford, Franklin Square (newsday.com) — Families in Medford are getting a new pediatric urgent care option at 2799 Route 112, Suite 11, with evening and weekend hours for kids and young adults. Operated by Allied Physicians Group, the center will share space with an existing pediatric office and aims to fill the gap when regular pediatric practices are closed.
