• Motorcyclist Killed In Medford Crash: Police (patch.com) — Residents in Medford are being alerted to a fatal crash on Route 112 at Southaven Avenue, where a 20-year-old motorcyclist from Patchogue died after colliding with a turning car driven by a Medford woman. The crash happened Saturday morning, and Suffolk County detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the incident in Medford to contact the Fifth Squad with information. 
• Medford man charged with DWI after slamming into construction vehicle on Sunrise Highway (greaterlongisland.com) — A Medford resident was arrested on DWI charges after police say his SUV entered a closed work zone and hit an unoccupied construction vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Brookhaven, spilling fuel and closing the road for hours. No injuries were reported, but multiple Suffolk agencies responded and he now faces drunk driving and Move Over Law violations.
