Police: Man Charged in Medford Bank Robbery

The 24-year-old is also accused of robbing a bank in Lake Ronkonkoma.

A Farmingville man arrested on Monday is accused of robbing two nearby banks, one in April and one last November, police said.

David Gelormino, 24, is charged with two counts of third degree robbery.

According to police, Gelormino robbed the Chase Bank located at 130 Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma on April 6 and the Astoria Bank located at 718 Route 112 in Medford on Nov. 7.

No one was injured in either robbery. Gelormino will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
