ATM Burglarized In Roosevelt Early Thursday: Police
Xavier King was taken into custody after attempting to flee officers, police say.

ROOSEVELT, NY — A Roosevelt man was picked up by police for a Thursday morning burglary at an automatic teller machine, authorities said.
Money was stolen from the ATM at 90 Nassau Rd. in Roosevelt, just after 4 a.m, according to police.
Xavier King, 57, was placed into custody after initially refusing to comply, fleeing northbound, detectives said.

King faces charges that include third-degree burglary, possession of burglar's tools and criminal mischief. He is scheduled for arraignment on Friday in Hempstead.
King was previously arrested on Oct. 8 on charges of three counts of third-degree burglary, and was released with no bail, police said.
