Man Struck, Killed by Train in Baldwin
Service restored to Merrick after victim was struck in Baldwin, officials said.

Service has been restored to the Babylon branch of the Long Island Rail Road after a man was struck and killed in Baldwin Wednesday afternoon.
The victim, a man in his 50s or 60s, was struck at 1:11 p.m. several car lengths east of the Baldwin station by a westbound train preparing to stop, according to Newsday.
Service was suspended for about two hours, LIRR announced. Service was restored just after 3 p.m. but residual delays of up to two hours are expected, officials said.
