Maximus Salon to Close Merrick Location

Patch has learned that Maximus Spa Salon will be closing its doors after 42 years. The salon, currently located at 2075 Merrick Road, will be moving to 399 Old Country Road in Carle Place.

In a letter to his clients, Richard Calcasola, founder of the salon, said, "We are especially proud of our leadership and accomplishments in the community. My family and the extended family of Maximus...look forward to greeting you at the door."

According to the letter, a majority of the staff will stay on board and will be available at the new location.
