Merrick Boy Scouts Prepare for Another Year of Volunteering
Troop 225 has been hard at work during the summer.

After a very successful week at Summer Camp, Merrick Boy Scout Troop 225 is ready for another year of exciting scouting activities.
While camping at Baiting Hollow Scout Reservation in Wading River, 18 Scouts from the Troop paddled, swam, climbed, hiked, cooked and earned more than 150 merit badges.
One of the more mentally demanding badges, chess, was earned by five scouts during classes that started at 7 a.m., even before breakfast. A great time was had by all, and they even got to see some very special First Aid techniques as well.
