Police: Man Stole Wallet at Merrick Gas Station
Incident happened in December, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man they say stole a wallet at a Merrick gas station in December.
On Thursday, police released surveillance photos taken at 7:58 a.m. on Dec. 29 from Gulf Gas Station on Sunrise Highway. A man was caught on camera stealing a wallet that contained credit cards, debit cards, and $400 in cash, cops said.

The subject fled the scene in a maroon van, also caught on camera, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
