Fire Truck Goes Up in Flames at N. Bellmore Firehouse
Fire broke out on ladder truck Wednesday morning inside firehouse, police said.

North Bellmore firefighters battled a blaze on their own turf Wednesday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
A ladder truck caught fire inside the firehouse bay at Station 2 on Newbridge Road, cops said.
Officers received a 911 call alerting them to the situation at 9:35 a.m., police confirmed. Fire officials asked NCPD to assist in blocking and redirecting traffic around the firehouse, police said.

Firefighters safely brought the truck out of the station and onto their driveway before the fire was able to spread, according to Newsday.
No one was injured in the fire, whose cause and subsequent damages are so far unconfirmed, according to the report.
