• Two-car crash on Route 209 in Mamakating sends three to hospitals (recordonline.com) — A serious two-car crash on Route 209 in nearby Mamakating sent three people to hospitals, including two taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, where one woman is in critical condition. State police say a northbound Mazda crossed the center line on a curve and hit a Honda head-on, and investigators are asking any witnesses to contact their Wurtsboro office.
