4 Arrested After Drug Overdose Fatality
State police began an investigation after two drug overdoses, one of which resulted in a death.

RED HOOK, NY — Four people were arrested Friday, April 27, after an investigation into two drug overdoses in the Town of Red Hook, one of which was a fatality. The state police Troop K Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Village of Red Hook Police Department executed a pre-dawn search warrant Friday at a residence located off South Broadway.
An investigation began after two drug overdoses were reported April 21 in the Town of Red Hook, one of which resulted in a death.
The search turned up an undisclosed amount of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, more than $2,000 in U.S. currency, an unlawfully possessed firearm and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The following people, who were at the residence that was searched, were arrested and charged with:
Joseph G. Clark, 25, of Red Hook

- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony
- Fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
- 2 counts of second-degree criminal use of a drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
- Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation
Amanda R. Wooden, 26, of Red Hook
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
- 2 counts of second-degree criminal use of a drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
- Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation
Cody A. Alexander, 25, of Kingston
- 2 counts seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
- 2 counts of second-degree criminal use of a drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
- Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation
Kayla J. Travis, 28, of Red Hook
- 2 counts seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor
- 2 counts of second-degree criminal use of a drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor
- Unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation
Clark was arraigned in the Town of Hyde Park Court and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond to reappear in Town of Red Hook Court May 24.
Wooden was arraigned in the Town of Hyde Park Curt and sent to the Dutchess County Jail on $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond to reappear in the Town of Red Hook court May 24.
Alexander and Travis were released on appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Red Hook Court May 24.
