Arlington HS Placed On Lockdown Monday
The SRO alerted school administration of the threat that was received.

LAGRANGEVILLE, NY — Arlington High School was placed on lockdown Monday due to a call about a possible threat. The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office school resource officer assigned to the school notified the administration around 10 a.m. of the threat, and the school's safety plan was activated.
The SRO and additional sheriff's deputies, along with New York State Police troopers, investigated the incident after the school was placed on lockdown.
At about 11:15 a.m., the lockdown was lifted after the threat was determined to be a prank.

All students and staff are safe, the sheriff's office said. The school remains in a hold in place while the sheriffs and school officials continue the investigation.
