ATF, Gap Inc. Offer Increased Reward For Information About Fishkill Fire

The fire was determined to have been intentionally set and is still under investigation.

FISHKILL, NY – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and Gap Inc. have announced an increased, combined reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the fire that took place on Aug. 29, 2016, at the Northeast Distribution Center for Gap Inc. in Fishkill. The investigation by ATF’s National Response Team, conducted in partnership with the State Police, State Office of Fire Prevention and Control, Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Fishkill Fire Department concluded that the fire was intentionally set. The investigation is ongoing.

About 600 people worked in the distribution center's Building 100, which was destroyed by the fire. The entire distribution center employs about 1,300 people.
