Beacon To Discuss Law Dealing With Short-Term Rentals
The proposed legislation would affect Airbnb-type transactions.

BEACON, NY — The City of Beacon will take up a proposal to regulate short-term housing rentals such as Airbnb. The city council will discuss the proposal at its Monday workshop meeting.
The city's existing zoning does not address short-term rentals, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
Airbnb has taken issue with some of the proposed legislation, including limiting the number of days in which a space could be rented to 100 per calendar year.
