Body Of Missing Brooklyn Woman Found Below Hawk's Nest
A 2008 Honda FIT registered to the missing woman was found at a pull-off area along State Route 97 leading to the discovery.

SPARROW BUSH, NY — The search for a missing Brooklyn woman did not end the way it was hoped.
New York State Police say that the body of the missing woman was found in Sparrow Bush.
Last Friday, around 11 a.m., NYSP troopers from the Greenville barracks in Orange County responded to State Route 97, also known as the Hawk's Nest, in Sparrow Bush.

They assisted the Town of Deerpark Police Department and the Port Jervis Police Department in the search for the missing, suicidal woman.
The 41-year-old woman from Brooklyn had been reported missing to the NYPD the day before.

Deerpark police located a 2008 Honda FIT registered to the missing woman at a pull-off area along State Route 97.
Using a drone, a NYSP Troop F Unmanned Aircraft System pilot located the body of a female at the bottom of the cliff. After being recovered, the body was later identified as the missing woman.
New York State Police was assisted by the Deerpark Police Department, the Port Jervis Police Department, the Sparrowbush Fire Department, Orange County Technical Rescue, the Huguenot Fire Department, and the New York State Police Aviation Unit.
Police say that the investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by SP Greenville BCI.
