Bronx Pair Caught With Cocaine On Thruway: NYSP
Troopers said they found probable cause to search their car.

CORNWALL, NY — Two Bronx residents were accused of having cocaine after they were stopped by police on the Thruway.
The New York State Police said, around 2:20 a.m. Monday, troopers stopped a car on Interstate 87 in the town of Cornwall for a traffic violation.
While the troopers were interviewing the driver — Enxhurjena Gjeta, 23, of Bronx — probable cause to search the car and its occupants was established.

Police said they found about 2.3 grams of cocaine and a scale that had cocaine residue on it.
Gjeta and her passenger Emanuel Agaj, 24, of Bronx, were arrested and taken to the Newburgh barracks.

They were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
The pair was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Cornwall Court March 24.
