Bus Driver Arrested For Making Violent Threats At Work

Police said the threats were directed toward the staff at the bus garage.

MINISINK, NY — A school bus driver was arrested after allegedly making threats of violence at work. State Police said Albert DiPaola, 71, of the Town of Greenville, was charged Wednesday, Feb. 14 with one count of making a terroristic threat, a felony.

DiPaola is employed by the Minisink Valley School District, police said.

The threats, police said, were limited to the staff of the bus garage and did not involve students, teachers or other school district staff.

DiPaola was arraigned in the Town of Wawayada Court and sent to the Orange County Jail pending a future court appearance.
