Child On Bike Hit By Car In Hudson Valley
The child was alert and conscious after the accident.
MONROE, NY — A 12-year-old child was seriously injured Friday when a car accidentally hit him while he was crossing Route 17M on a bicycle in Monroe. The incident occurred around 9:25 a.m.
The boy was wearing a helmet and was conscious and alert after the accident, recordonline.com said.
He was flown by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center with suspected head injuries and broken bones.
