Fire Sends 1 To Hospital In Poughkeepsie

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — One man was was injured in a house fire Monday in the City of Poughkeepsie. The fire started around 2:50 p.m. on Mount Carmel Place.

The fire, which doesn't appear to be suspicious, was under control within 10 minutes, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Officials said the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
