Kingston's HealthAlliance Welcomes 1st New Year's Day Baby
The hospital has a tradition of playing Brahms' "Lullaby" over the PA system when a baby is born.

KINGSTON, NY — The first baby born in 2019 at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston came into the world New Year's Day. Mom Renay Nugent, 25, of Bloomington, gave birth to Connor at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday.
He weighed 7 pounds 4.8 ounces and was 20 inches long.
Nugent delivered Connor under the supervision of Certified Nurse-Midwife Beth Saltzman.

HealthAlliance Hospitals have a tradition of playing Brahms' "Lullaby" over the PA system of both hospital campuses with a baby is born.
The recorded music, which all visitors and staff can hear, is performed on a celesta and was played in honor of Connor at 8:53 p.m. Tuesday.
