Metro-North Train Strikes, Kills Person On Track South Of Beacon
The railroad said the incident wasn't criminal or accidental.

BEACON, NY — A person was killed Thursday by a Metro-North train south of the Beacon station on the Hudson Line. A spokeswoman for the railroad said the incident was neither accidental nor criminal.
The train which struck the unidentified victim around 12:24 p.m., and multiple trains were canceled or delayed because of the incident, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
