New Windsor Officer Struck By Car While On Accident Scene: Reports

NEW WINDSOR, NY — A New Windsor police officer is hurt after being struck by a vehicle while working at the scene of another accident Sunday night, according to multiple reports.

The driver fled the scene in their vehicle after hitting the officer on Route 207, News12 reported. Later, after police found the vehicle, a woman was taken in for questioning, according to the outlet.

The crash occurred between Union Avenue and Route 300 in New Windsor, Mid Hudson News reported.
