Plane Ends Up In Pond After Trying To Land At Sky Acres
One person was injured in the incident.
UNION VALE, NY — A single-engine Cessna Skyhawk went off the runway at Sky Acres Airport in Union Vale while trying to land, injuring one person.
The incident occurred Sunday around 1:30 p.m., the Poughkeepsie Journal said, with the plane ending up overturned in a pond.
The passenger who suffered minor injuries was taken to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.
