Poughkeepsie Teen ID'd As Victim In School Bus Collision
Police said she overcorrected after leaving the roadway and ended up in the opposite lane.

HYDE PARK, NY — A 19-year-old Poughkeepsie resident died in a collision Monday morning that involved a Red Hook school district bus. The Town of Hyde Park Police Department said T-Ondra Lashae Walker was killed when she was partially ejected from her Honda Civic after striking the bus.
Walker was driving north on South Quaker Lane when she left the roadway and entered the right shoulder, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
She overcorrected and entered the southbound lane when she collided with the bus.

No one on the bus — which included the driver, a monitor and three students — reported serious injuries, but some of them were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
