Poughkeepsie Woman Accused of Stabbing Man with Sword

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Police said a City of Poughkeepsie woman stabbed a man with a samurai sword.

Akema Carter, 41, faces a felony assault charge and is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man in her Hamilton Street home, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
