Poughkeepsie Woman Faces Felony DWI, Unlicensed Operation Charges
Records revealed she had a previous DWI conviction from 2017.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said that a City of Poughkeepsie resident was arrested for felony drunken driving. The sheriff’s office said Konstance C. Parker, 25, of Poughkeepsie, was taken into custody around 1:31 a.m. March 31. Her 2013 Chevrolet was stopped on South Cherry Street in Poughkeepsie for an equipment violation.
The sheriff’s deputy said that she was intoxicated.
Parker was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both felonies, operating without a court-ordered ignition interlock device, a misdemeanor, and other traffic infractions.

The sheriff’s office said the DWI charge was a felony because Park had a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years — Feb. 24, 2017.
The aggravated unlicensed operation charge was a felony because Parker’s license had been revoked for a DWI-related offense and she was drunk while driving the vehicle.

Addtionally, she had another revocation and a suspension on her license as well.
