Staffer Accused Of Taking PARC's And Residents' Money
A Fishkill man was arrested in Carmel.
Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Fishkill man charted with petty larceny.
At 4:09 p.m. Feb. 13, Deputy Christopher Tompkins responded to ARC of Putnam (PARC) at 575
Drewville Road in Carmel, for a larceny report. He learned that money belonging
to PARC and several residents of the PARC housing in Carmel was missing from the house safe.
He concluded after investigation that an assistant manager of the PARC residence, James Haggerty Jr., 37, had taken the money without permission.

Tompkins placed Haggerty under arrest. He faces a charge of petty larceny, a misdemeanor, in Carmel town court.
