State Trooper Hurt In Crash In Columbia County
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

STOCKPORT, NY — The New York State Police in Livingston are investigating a one-car crash involving a state police patrol vehicle, on State Route 9 in the town of Stockport. On Aug. 7, around 11:15 p.m., a marked state police patrol vehicle, operated by Trooper Theresa Filippini, was traveling southbound when the vehicle went off State Route 9 in the area of the Columbiaville bridge.
It struck an embankment and tree, then overturned.
Filippini, the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center.

She was treated and released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, police said.
