Teen Accused Of Stabbing Another Teen In Poughkeepsie

Police said the incident took place at an apartment complex in the town.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A teenager was accused of stabbing another teen in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Police said they were called shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday to the Mountainbrook Apartment complex on Innis Avenue.

When Town of Poughkeepsie police arrived, they found a 17-year-old man from Poughkeepsie with a stab wound.

He was taken by ambulance to Vassar Brothers Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through an investigation, officers apprehended a 14-year-old boy.

The Hyde Park resident was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a felony.
