Troopers Seek Witnesses Of Fatal Harley Crash, Driver ID'd
Police say the motorcycle rider was ejected after hitting a left-turning Ford that failed to yield the right of way.

GARDINER, NY — State troopers are hoping that eyewitnesses can help their investigation into a fatal motorcycle crash in Ulster County.
New York State Police say that on Sunday afternoon, at 2:33 p.m., troopers from the Highland barracks responded to reports of a car/motorcycle collision on Route 44/55, at the intersection of Route 299, in the Town of Gardiner.
Troopers say a 2017 Ford operated by 62-year-old George Georges, of Carle Place, was traveling east on Route 44/55 and made a left turn onto Route 299, traveling west. Police say he failed to yield the right of way to a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was heading west, causing the motorcycle to strike the car. The rider of the motorcycle was then ejected.
