Upstate Man Arrested With Crack Cocaine: Police
One of his charges is criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

WOODBURY, NY — An upstate man was arrested May 4 after a traffic stop after he was found to have crack cocaine. State police said Kevin D. Middleton, 32, of Champlain, Clinton County, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, and a vehicle and traffic violation.
State police stopped Middleton on I-87 in the Town of Woodbury for an equipment violation.
During the interview with him, probably cause to search the vehicle and him was established.

Approximately 38 grams of crack cocaine was located, police said.
Middleton was taken into custody. He was arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court May 10.
