Victim Of Fatal Crash In Goshen ID'd As Monroe Resident
Police found a body in a car upside down in a retention pond off Route 17.
GOSHEN, NY — New York State Police have identified the victim in a fatal vehicle crash Dec. 8 in Goshen as Monroe resident Nicole Romero-Brown.
A New York State Police helicopter located an overturned vehicle in a retention pond off Route 17, Exit 124 westbound, at noon Thursday. They found the body of a woman in the car.
Monday, state police identified the victim as 45-year-old Romero-Brown. The investigation continues.

Local nonprofit Keep Hope Alive 845 told News 12 that family members said Brown, a travel nurse, had been missing since Nov. 30.
