'We Stand With Orlando' Vigil Scheduled in Kingston
Organizers said it will be an opportunity to support each other and to mourn.

Kingston, NY — A “We Stand With Orlando” vigil will be held Monday at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center in Kingston.
The vigil will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will last for an hour.
The event is a reaction to the mass shooting Sunday in Orlando, Florida, which claimed the lives of 50 patrons at a gay nightclub.

A posting on the organization’s website said it will be “an opportunity to mourn, to support each other and to demonstrate that the loss of one member of our community affects us all. The struggle for equality is far from over.”
The Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center is located at 300 Wall St. in Kingston.
