West Hurley Man Accused in Beer Bottle Assault

On June 10, 2016 the New York State Police at Kingston arrested William B. McKnight, 28, of West Hurley, NY for one count of Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony. 

A New York State Police investigation concluded that McKnight struck another man in the face with a glass beer bottle, causing the victim physical injury, while at a party in Saugerties.  

McKnight was arraigned by Town of Woodstock Justice Husted and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.  McKnight was ordered to appear in the Town of Saugerties Court at a later date.
