Woodstock Supervisor Wilber Dies, McKenna Appointed to Replace Him
Jeremy Wilber died New Year's Day of cancer. He continued to lead the town while in hospice care.

WOODSTOCK, NY — Jeremy Wilber, Woodstock town supervisor, died New Year’s Day of cancer.
Deputy Supervisor Bill McKenna was appointed by the board to take over leading the town for 2017, the Daily Freeman said.
A memorial service will be held at noon Sunday at the Bearsville Theater on Route 212.

The supervisor’s seat will be up for election November.
Wilber served a total of 13 years as supervisor.
