Coworking Office 'The Yard' Opens New Bryant Park Location

The Yard's newest location offers both coworking and private offices in a landmarked building one block from Bryant Park.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The Yard — a company that operates coworking offices spaces — opened its newest office in a landmarked building a block away from Bryant Park this week, a company spokeswoman said.

The new 16,000-square-foot office space features private offices, dedicated desks and coworking options and is located on the third floor of 510 Fifth Avenue on the corner of West 43rd Street, according to a press release. Rates are $500 per month for coworking, $624 per month for a desk and $1,000 per month for a private office.

All members will have access to the lounges overlooking Fifth Avenue, conference rooms and a fully-stocked kitchen, according to a press release.

The office space's interiors were designed by Brooklyn-based firm Inaba Williams. The firm balance the building's 1950s architecture with modern-day office design.

"We’re presenting an opportunity that is truly hard to come by for the modern entrepreneur." The Yard's founder Morris Levy said in a statement. "Our Bryant Park space has the luxury of high-end business resources and amenities with an impressive address, at a month-to-month, unbeatable price."

The Fifth Avenue building — formerly known as the Manufacturers Trust Company Building — is a city designated landmark that was designed in 1954 by renowned firm architecture firm Skidmore Owings & Merrill.

The Yard was founded in 2011 and operates office spaces in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston and Washington, D.C., according to a press release. The Bryant Park office is The Yard's 13th location and its third location based inside a landmarked building. A South Williamsburg office is planned for early 2018.
