Menu items will cost $1 on the restaurant's opening day.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — San Francisco-style taqueria chain Dos Toros is set to open its 14th New York City restaurant this month when its newest location debuts in the Garment District.

Dos Toros' new restaurant is set to open on Jan. 30 at 555 Eighth Ave., located between West 37th and 38th streets, according to a company press release. As is customary whenever a Dos Toros location debut, entree items will be sold for just $1 on opening day.

With a location near busy transit hubs such as Penn Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal the new location hopes to cater to travelers as well as the usual Midtown lunch crowd.

"Coming from the West Coast, we know the West side can sometimes be overlooked." Leo Kremer, Co-CEO of Dos Toros, said in a statement. "We felt that a store between Penn Station and Port Authority could be a great addition for those who work or live in the area. We're hopeful our fresh cooking and elevated dining setting will give the Garment District another great lunch and dinner option to frequent."

The new restaurant will feature decor such as light wood finishes, cacti, and black and white photos of mission taquerias from California, according to a press release. All of the food served at the Garment District location will be cooked from scratch.
