MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Four F-16 Fighting Falcon aircrafts from the U.S. Air Force (USAF) will conduct a ceremonial flyover of the USS Intrepid Friday afternoon over the Hudson River.

The four planes will fly over Dr. Roscoe C. Brown Jr.'s funeral service. Brown was a former commander of the 100th Fighter Squadron, which is a unit of the famed Tuskegee Airmen, during World War II.

The 100th Fighter Squadron is still a part of the Alabama Air National Guard today, which includes the F-16s and pilots performing the flyover.
