Grand Central Terminal Restaurants Offer Free Food

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Various restaurants and shops in Grand Central Terminal are serving up free eats and goods this week including french fries, wine samples and cold brew coffee for the "Taste of the Terminal" festival.

The festival kicked off Tuesday and will continue in Grand Central's Vanderbilt Hall until Thursday, June 13. Vendors such as Shake Shack, Oren's Daily Roast, Vineyard Vines and Bien Cuit are participating in the event, which will also feature live music.

"Through Music Under New York, more than 350 individual performers and ensembles participate in more than 7,500 performances in approximately 30 locations throughout the transit system annually," Grand Central's website says.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
