Indoor Golf Training Facility To Open In Midtown, Report Says

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Starting in February, New Yorkers will no longer have to ditch Midtown Manhattan to work on their golf swings.

An indoor golf training center is set to open at 590 5th Ave., located between Fifth and Sixth avenues, in mid-February, Golf Magazine first reported. The training center will be run by Leadbetter Golf Academy, and will be the company's first location in the United States, according to the report.

Leadbetter Golf Academy is named after renowned golf instructor David Leadbetter, who has worked with a number of golf pros. The Midtown Manhattan location's lead instructor will be Steve Keogh, a PGA Senior tour pro, Golf Magazine reported.
